About Me

Howdy! My name is Kylie Daniel and I am a Jesus-loving 18-year-old photographer in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Ever since I received my first camera at age 13, I've been inspired to capture tender moments of peoples' lives, whether it's a simple portrait, cap and gown pics, or a sports game.

Currently, I am being mentored by the Director of Visual Journalism at The Dallas Morning News and have learned so much since the beginning of my mentorship. I hope to pursue my dream Journalism dreams as a career, and starting young seems to work for most people. I hope to be able to work with you soon!

GET TO KNOW ME

My Passions

When you get to know me, I'm all things yellow, photo, and Jesus! I grew up in a Christian household and love going to church with some of the people I love the most. I also do photography at my church, which makes my weeks even better by combining two of my biggest passions in life! If I were to declare a dream job, without having to worry about income, I would be a missionary photographer for a church or mission foundation to travel and document the Lord's work everywhere I go!

My Activities

As a young adult, I have many activities going on in my busy life! I currently work as a Childcare provider at Hope Fellowship church and absolutely love it! At school, I am the Editor-In-Chief for the yearbook staff and have a mentorship at the Dallas Morning News which has built me into a better photographer! I also attend Sky Ranch, a summer camp in Van, TX every summer which has shaped me into the leader I am today. I currently work as a Lifeguard after being a camper for 11 years now!

My Family

My family is 100% my biggest support system. When I was younger, I started out taking pictures of my two little sisters (when they'd let me!) to practice which has encouraged me and pushed me in so many ways. My dad gifted my current camera to me for Christmas and I couldn't be more thankful! And of course, my mom is my biggest cheerleader and is willing to put up with me whether I'm in a super hyper mood or even a bad mood, and will pose for me whenever the camera is on her!
